In other words, 25 years of experience as a composer, which I wanted to concretize in different styles and dynamics: a mix between “classical” and “popular” music.

With the it-big BAND, a music group of 16 musicians with String consort and synthesizer violin, I revisit the different trends of 20th-century musical writing, associated with the energy of groove & improvisation of modern contemporary music.

MODE HALLES is a Suite of five movements: the main themes of each part combine with each other as we progress in the piece. This alliance between writing and interpretation is a result of my various experiences as a composer and musician.

What did I want to create?

A continuity in the apparent discontinuity, a bridge between styles traditionally opposed.
